WHAT IS THE ENTERPRISE DEVELOPMENT GRANT (EDG)?
HOW DO I KNOW IF I’M ELIGIBLE FOR THE EDG?
Below are the mandatory criteria:
- Business entity registered and operating in Singapore
- Company has at least 30% local equity held directly or indirectly by Singaporean(s) and/or Singapore PR(s), determined by the ultimate individual ownership
- The company is financially ready to start and complete the project.
Commonly used financial indicators, such as the current ratio, will be used for assessment. In addition to the above, Enterprise Singapore will also vet through project proposals and assess each of them and how it will eventually contribute to the company’s growth.
WHAT DOCUMENTS ARE REQUIRED TO APPLY FOR THE EDG?
The list of documents required include:
- Latest ACRA, date of purchase should be within the past 6 months from date of application
- Audited or certified management accounts for the last financial year
- Project proposal
- Forecasted impact of project
- Project quotation
HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE FOR AN EDG APPLICATION TO BE PROCESSED?
All applications will take approximately 8 to 12 weeks from the time of submission before a final outcome is issued.
